Below is information provided to us by Roswell Rapids. Please be at Roswell Rec. by 4:30pm. We will bring our team tents for more shade. I would bring a cooling towel, battery operated fans (if you have one), picnic blanket (for grassy area under tent), large water bottles, and healthy snacks. IT HAS BEEN A HOT WEEK WE NEED TO BE CAREFUL OF HEAT EXHAUSTION AND DEHYDRATION FOR SWIMMERS AND PARENTS!

Location:

Roswell Rapids swim out of the outdoor pool at Roswell Area Park located at 10495 Woodstock Road, Roswell 30075. Once you enter the park, there will be signage to direct drivers to the pool area and surrounding parking.

Pool Entrance:

Your team may enter the fenced pool area via the gate that is located on the side of the pool near the Physical Activity Center (around the side of the pool with the grassy area and opposite of the pool building/locker rooms).

Team Area/Bullpen:

Your team will be allocated the grassy area adjacent to the pool deck for use as a bullpen area for your swimmers. Much of this area is covered by a shade structure. 

Pool:

Roswell Rapids meets use a 6-lane pool. Starting blocks will be available for swimmers to use on both ends of the pool and swimmer’s may choose to use the blocks or not based on their individual comfort level and preference.

Warm-up Times:

Your team will be allocated the pool for warm-ups from 4:45-5:15pm (Rapids will warm-up from 4:15-4:45pm). The meet is scheduled to begin at 5:30pm.

Concessions:

A variety of concession items will be available for purchase. These items generally include pizza, grilled burgers and hot dogs, chips, cookies, candy, a variety of drinks including Gatorade, water and soda and a Sno Cone machine. Roswell Rapids accept cash, credit card or PayPal.
