Hey Team,

Get ready to ride the wave of excitement because our first Home meet of the season is coming up this Thursday, June 13th! We're bringing a taste of the tropics with our Hawaiian theme, so break out those grass skirts and leis for some fun in the sun.

But wait, there's more! It's also our Grandparent Appreciation meet, where we'll be showing some love to the awesome grandparents in our squad with special leis just for them. Also, at the beginning of the meet we will call out the names of grandparents we have lost between 5/2023 and 6/2024, followed by a moment of silence. If your family has lost a grandparent during this time frame please email me back with their name. 

And guess what? We're introducing the Timedrops timing system for the first time ever! If you are a timer this week and would like to practice with the system we will have the system up and running at night practice on Monday and Wednesday. It's going to be a learning experience, so let's all be patient and cheer each other on as we dive into this new adventure.

One other request, if we could have as many people help clean up after the meet it would be very helpful. My family and I have to leave to go to Mississippi for a funeral early Friday morning and we won't be back till Monday afternoon.

Look for Gabby's email about meet details later this week! FYI since we are HOME, arrival time will be at 3:30 with our warm ups at 4:15pm and visiting teams at 4:45pm. Timers meeting at 5:15pm. The meet starting at 5:30pm.
